General Policies

In Response to Covid

The Washington Park Inn is a small, family operated inn. Accordingly, there simply isn't space for large gatherings. That said, we have taken some aggressive measures to address the pandemic to make your stay safe and comfortable. First, we provide 100% contact-free self check-in to guests. Second, we have installed a brand new air filtration system that includes ultra-violet, anti-viral lighting and Merv-13 filters. All staff wear masks while in public spaces and ask guests to do likewise. We also have thoughtfully placed ceiling fans to keep the air moving, We have always sterilized our guestroom linens and disinfect bathrooms. But in addition, we now wipe keys, TV remotes, door knobs, rails and keypads with alcohol on every room turnover. Not surprisingly, doctors from Albany Med choose our place as their home away from home when in Albany.

Our Policies

IMPORTANT CHECK-IN INFORMATION: We are exclusively a self-check-in contactless entry inn. Please make sure you check your email for instructions

  • Check in is anytime after 3:00PM and Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Please just leave keys on the desk or dresser in your room. If you we are around feel free to say farewell, but there is no formal check -out routine and you may just head out.

  • Rates/Policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.

  • Rates are based on stated room occupancy and include a full self-serve kitchen access and all its goodies.

  • Guests must vacate room by 11:00 AM, but may use the house, parking and store bags day of check-out up to 5PM that day.

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • Refund of Deposit Policy: Full refund will be made if cancellation notice is received at least 2 days prior to arrival date. Payment method required at the time the reservation is made. You will be charged 1st day, once the cancelation period has ended as a non-refundable deposit 2 days before the check in date.

  • Early Departures: No refunds will be given.

  • No-Shows: No Shows will be charged for ALL reserved dates from the credit card on file.

  • Pets and/or Animals – Regretfully we are not able to permit pets of any kind at our Inn

  • Washington Park Inn is Smoke-Free. If you are found smoking in the house, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

  • Property Damage: Guests are responsible for damage and will be charged for repair or replacement costs if damages occur. The credit card is on file will be charged accordingly and you will be supplied with details of the repairs or replacement required.

  • Children: We welcome children at Washington Park Inn. They are treated as guests and charged accordingly.

  • Parking: We offer onsite parking at no charge.

  • Breakfast: Washington Park Inn provides a stocked 24/7 open kitchen with continental breakfast foods as well as snack foods at no extra charge. Breakfast is self-serve.

  • Wi-Fi, Telephone & TV:  We do not have phones in room, but we do have a main house phone and fax for guests. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property and all TV’s are flat screen, HD Smart TV’s.
